We look at the crucifixion of Christ and decry how an innocent man was scourged and hung on a cross to die, but who cries out when an innocent being, whether we call it a child, or fetus, or tissue is "terminated", when we did not create it nor have the ability to create it! If a politician wants to take a stand in favor of abortion, then let them be respectful enough to not bring their faith into conflict and respectfully decline to receive the sacraments offered if they are in conflict with the teachings of that faith. Why should their church have to suffer for the decisions they make?
