More on the Border Patrol Agents

For those interested in information on yesterday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearings regarding Border Patrol Agents Compeon and Ramon this was the one site which I found offered information and links early this morning.

It amazes me that this was not more widely publicized yesterday. Perhaps as the day unfolds today full transcripts will become available.

This is one of the most serious cases of injustice to law officers who were doing their job.
They thought the man had a gun and when he ran and then turned they shot, but got him in the butt and not the back as described as Sutton.
His mother was friends of another woman whose son also worked in the Border Patrol and the illegal’s mother asked the other mother to intervene. Their own comrade turned them in.
They shot and instinctively picked up the shells. That was the tampering with evidence. Their supervisors were on the scene and knew what happened so if the report was incomplete they should have pointed it out and let them correct it.
Either way they don’t deserve to be in jail for shooting at a drug runner who has done it again how many times?
These men and the police officer Sutton sent to prison for shooting the tires out of a truck carrying a load of illegals, after the truck had tried to run him down in the street, should be released post haste, have their records expunged, paid for their legal fees and loss of freedom, guaranteed a job, and given the grateful thanks of this nation. Anything less is unacceptable to me.
Three jurors testified they voted guilty under duress and still the judge gave them such heavy sentences and because of who they are they have to serve their time in solitary.
Is there a fund set up to help support their families?
