It Is Being Reported Senator Craig Will Resign Tomorrow
According to this news report, Sen. Craig wil resign his Senate seat tomorrow.
Craig decided to resign with plans to make the announcement on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.
Craig will hold a news conference in Boise on Saturday, his spokesman, Dan Whiting said, but he would not say whether the three-term senator planned to step down. Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter, however, appeared to have settled on a successor: Lt. Gov. Jim Risch, according to several Republicans familiar with internal deliberations.
If in fact this report is true and all goes as seemingly planned then I will only add that I wish the Senator and his family well.

I’m not very pleased by how the RNC has treated this man. They have told him if he runs they will not fund his campaign and will give the money to another candidate in his stead.
This happened with Trent Lott and when the RNC called for contributions I told them I was mad about the Lott situation and wouldn’t donate until I got over it.
I’ll repeat my promise to them the next call I get.
