A Touch of Religion with your politics
A proposed list of “National Commandments” are available at Stolen Thunder.
Here are just a few:
Thy nation shall promote Justice above all else.
Thy nation shall not suppress those who believe in God and live in faith.
Thy nation shall promote Freedom for all people as individuals, except that Justice must always come first.
Just some food for thought for Thursday.

Didn’t like it much. Left me feeling “eh,” especially his defenses in the comments at Wizbang. Kind of like if you don’t agree with him or see his point immediately, you’re an idiot.

I didn’t see this piece over at Wizbang, found it at Stolen Thunder but will wander over there sometime today and read through the comments.
My only real thoughts on the piece itself was the section on the “National Commandments.” It got me to thinking what our elections would be like if we had such a blueprint to follow.
By the way, enjoyed your latest piece at HRP.

Big Mo:
I did go over to Wizbang and read through the comments there
regarding this piece.
I almost instantly remembered why I do not often take the time to read the comment section there as it degenerates many times to everything but an honest discussion of the post written.
However, I do agree that DJ did become defensive of his piece, which is his right, but it does shut down any substantive debate. That simply causes what I address in my second paragraph and then I find it a waste of time to bother to read.
