He is well spoken, always presents first rate answers to questions and is not afraid to stand up for what he believes. One would think that would make him the obvious choice of the republican base but his lack of national security experience on any level is hurting his candidacy in my opinion. As he himself said, he gets a lot of the "morality" questions in debates and also in town hall meetings he has conducted. The problem with those is that so much of what he believes is settled law to the contrary. Would he appoint conservative judges to the Supreme Court if he were elected, yes I think so, but is that enough? I like Mike Huckabee and would vote for him without hesitation if he were the nominee but I think the best we can hope for is to see him ofered the VP slot. If that ticket were to be elected, I would think he could have valuable input into any incoming administration. Guss:
