It’s Time Now For Huckabee To Drop Out
It is virtually mathematically impossible for Mike Huckabee to get enough delegates to win the Republican nomination for president.
He wants to claim the title of conservative when his record shows he’s a tax and spend liberal.
Instead of getting out of the race as Mitt Romney did when he saw the writing on the wall, Huckabee says he’s in it until the end.
That’s his right. Here’s the problem: As long as he stays in John McCain will have to continue to campaign to get the required amount of delegates, which will take his attention away from uniting the party for the general election.
This is exactly what is happening to the Democrats with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but at least they are close delegate-wise.
This primary season has turned out to be the exact opposite of what everyone thought. Hillary was supposed to cruise to the nomination while the Republicans fought it out down and dirty until the convention, which some hoped would be a brokered convention. After all, if we can’t find a “pure” conservative we certainly won’t vote for a RINO who has bucked the party so many times.
Speaking of Rinos it seems those people want total control over the nominating process and if they don’t get it they will cut off their noses to spite their faces.
I guess they figure they will get better SCOTUS justices under a Democrat than under a RINO Republican.
McCain was not in my top list of candidates and I didn’t vote for him in our primary, but he is the presumptive nominee of the party now and he has more important things to do to unite the party than to go around slapping at a pesky little gnat.
Mike Huckabee is that pesky little gnat. If he won’t drop out, McCain should concentrate on uniting the party anyway.
And for you great conservatives out there, you’d better think about what a Clinton or Obama presidency would be. It would make our country socialist where everyone depends on the government from cradle to grave. Don’t believe me? Look at France.
People can’t get jobs above minimum wage there if they don’t have connections. If they start a business they have to pay a fortune for a business license and will be taxed even if they never sell a thing.
Out of their minimum wage checks comes the money for what they call their Social Security, but it’s nothing like our Social Security. Theirs pays if they are out sick from work, pays for medical care except for a $3 co-pay if they see a private doctor, dictates how much they can pay for rent each month and just generally stinks. To get a pension they have to work in France for 50 years! Think about that. Otherwise they are on the dole.
If this is the kind of medical care and care you want from your government then you should vote for the Democratic candidate, whoever it is. You will get socialism. And you won’t like it.
But you can sit around and blame the big corporations for the plight you are in.
Huckabee, get out of the race now! We have a perfect storm if you do and it is quite probable we can keep the White House.

J. You accuse the Democratic Party if elected to the White House as bringing socialism to this country. This isn’t France. People can’t get jobs here in the U.S. and some are still making minimum wages, and many still don’t have nor can they afford health insurance. Many are saying we’re in a recession. Can’t blame the Democratic Party for that. My hopes are on the Democratic party to win the White House and maybe we can see a more positive change for this Country.
