Those who would like to follow the returns from today’s primary states may do so here.
Democrats and Republicans in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia hold their presidential caucuses. The primaries in D.C. and Maryland are closed, while the Virginia primaries are open. (Citizens do not designate a political party affiliation when registering to vote in Virginia.)
Results will begin to flow in at 7pm EST.

As expected, McCain and Obama won all three contests.
Hillary is putting all her eggs in the basket of Ohio and Texas. Giuliani put his eggs in Florida and we saw how that strategy worked. It looks to me like the Democrats think Hillary is not the ideal candidate this year.

While most of the results last evening were a foregone conclusion, it remains that this presidential campaign is nothing short of mind boggling.
Who really thought that McCain would be the standardbearer for the Republicans? And, how many out there honestly thought we would be this time seeing this tight a race on the Democratic side?
I’ll admit it..not me in either case.
