Yes, what they did was despicable but for them to publicly acknowledge their wrongdoing is so unusual that it should be recognized. Would I have cancelled my subscription to this magazine had I had one..yes. Would this apology be enough to make me again a reader..no, but I do think it is fair to show that at least there is an instance where those in the media have a conscience.
