Who knows the actual purpose of the meeting John McCain is conducting this weekend with several prominent members of the GOP and Senator Lieberman.
I don’t know if any of these individuals are on the short list for the Senator’s VP choice, but I do hope that Governor Jindal is not the selection.
While I have a great deal of respect for him, should the ticket not win, it could remove a genuine shining star for the GOP from the national stage in the future.
The Governor’s words:
“I think it would be extremely presumptuous for me to turn down something that has not been offered to me. But I’ve been public in every conversation I’ve ever had with anybody, I’ve made it very clear I’ve got the job that I want.â€
We’ll see, as anything at the present moment is nothing more than speculation.

Desperate to get attention for her cause to seat Florida and Michigan delegates, Hillary Clinton compared the plight of Zimbabweans in their recent fraudulent election to the uncounted votes of Michigan and Florida voters saying it is wrong when “people go through the motions of an election only to have them discarded and disregarded.â€
