LOS ANGELES (AP) - Harvey Korman, the tall, versatile comedian who won four Emmys for his outrageously funny contributions to “The Carol Burnett Show” and on the big screen in “Blazing Saddles,” died Thursday. He was 81.

Korman died at UCLA Medical Center after suffering complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago, his family said in a statement released by the hospital.

Mr. Korman is probably best remembered (as the above article states) as a member of the ensemble on “The Carol Burnett Show” but the following video is a performance with Danny Kaye when he was a part of the cast of “The Danny Kaye Show.”

Sorry to hear of Mr. Korman’s passing. He was a talented humorist.

I appreciated this trip down memory lane; Danny Kay was a must see show in my youth, and the “Carol Burnette Show” was another more recent favorite.

Danny Kaye was very important to my family also as far as programming went back in the day.

Glad you enjoyed the video. How different it seems when we look back, no language, sex or violence which our folks had to concern themselves with (at least for the most part.)
