David:

I have read that in several places. The only reason I might disagree is that it is not the most high profile job and if she plans to run again in 2012 (assuming nothing changes this year) it would be an impossible nomination to accept.

Who knows..anymore I can't figure it all out day to day.

Guss:

If you should stop back let me just say that I do not consider it bashing someone if the facts prove what you have said to be true.

When it comes to individual opinion on the character of another, that is generally arrived at by observation over a period of time.

While I thought Ronald Reagan was the right man at the right time I also had my differences with his Presidency. His oratory skills carried much of the day during his 8 years..part of the reason President Bush has had so much difficulty in my opinion.

As for the Clintons. Well the dot.com boom is only going to come along once and that lent a helping hand towards the economy boost the former President claimed during his administration. There were far too many legal situations they both had themselves entangled in. I disagreed with the Impeachment proceedings but understood that they were based on perjury not sex.

As to the character and moral issues. Some of those should speak for themselves. What other administration left the White House in the condition the Clinton's did upon their departure? They touted a co-presidency, therefore Mrs. Clinton is as much to blame for that as WJC is. I think they forgot that house belongs to the people and is only on loan to those who are fortunate enough to occupy it.

Those are but a few of the reasons why I simply cannot bring mnyself to support either of these individuals in any way.

Perhaps to others that is shallow and unfair but after observing the treatment of President Bush, I think we here have been more than fair and most of the time mild in criticism by comparison (and that is of anyone, not just the Clintons).

Personally, I would be sorry to see you go based on this one issue but if that is your choice I respect it.

What will we do when we can no longer "bash" the Clintons? I guess the same thing the Democrats will do when they can no longer "bash" Bush.

It's clear we don't like Hillary, but more importantly we don't trust her. To each his own.

You don't have to feel as though you need to comment on Reagan or anyone else if you don't want to. He had his mistakes and faults too.

You seem very confused as to how you plan to vote in November. Your vote is yours and it is up to you to use it as you think is right.

I hate to see you leave, but we are in the midst of a presidential campaign and we have endorsed the Republican candidate.

Don't count Hillary out yet. The convention hasn't arrived and there could be buyers' remorse about Obama and she could land the nomination.

It's amazing how I come to this blog, with my morning coffee, thinking that I will hear something interesting but by the time I leave I feel nothing but resentment.
I enjoyed the video on President Reagan but some how thought it was my duty to say something offensive about him.
What ever happened to mutual respect? J, you and sue both know that I respect the Clinton's in the same way that you do the Regan's. I would never think of bashing them (The Reagan's)anymore than I would you. It's things like this that will keep this great country divided.
I apologize but I can't vote republican after reading this pure hate for a family that has done as much for this country ,in my opinion, as any one else.
I will no longer visit here. I need to start my days in a positive mood.

J, what are you girls going to do without a Clinton to bash? This woman has more intelligence and grace than most I've seen over the years.

All I can add is that some people understand grace and humility, others do not.

When you have to be pressured into showing either, then to me at least, it shows a lot about your character.
