Governor Palin drops the puck at the opening of the season for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Her daughters must have been thrilled to be there to shake hands with both Mike Richards and Scott Gomez the respective team Captains.
Bet little Piper will not forget this night any time soon!

That’s Philly fans. I’ve seen them boo sports icons in the city so it’s no surprise.
Besides, the Flyers draw from the Philadelphia area primarily which is definitely a Democratic area.
Philly is notorious for its inhospitality in sports. I remember when the Panthers played Philly in Philly in the playoffs it was a hairy site. For a republican to be booed in a predominantly democrat area is of no concern to me.
