This past Saturday Connie Talbot performed at the FYE store in the King of Prussia Mall here in Pennsylvania. Amazingly, this little girl was the runner-up in the British version of Idol.

My son happens to be the General Manger of the store which hosted this performance and he gave me the heads up that she would be there along with her Mom and Dad and management team. He said this little wonder is just a friendly and personable as you might imagine when you watch her perform.

Connie and her folks had one more performance lined up on Sunday on the Today show and were then flying back to England for her to attend school.

Lot’s of autographs were signed and fun was had by all and if you are looking for a CD for yourself or children or grandchildren “Connie Talbot, Over the Rainbow” is due to be released this Tuesday. Good Stuff..I have heard the pre-release.

While I enjoyed watching the performance above, take a look at Connie Talbot and a young lady from Korea performing “You Raise Me Up.” You may not understand the announcer but when you see the blind child on piano it is sure to melt your heart!

   I’ve followed this little girl via YouTube for a year or so, and she has the most beautiful, clear and innocent voice of anyone I’ve ever heard. I hope her voice never changes so we can enjoy her for a long time, and I hope her parents keep her grounded in reality so she doesn’t get spoiled.

   BTW, Sue, were you there? I looked for someone with a cast on her left leg and didn’t see it.

   No. Obviously I wasn’t able to go but wish I had. My son said these were some of the most wonderful people he had met.

   He said of all the in store performances or concerts he has run her folks would have to have been among his favorite individuals. Very grounded and easy not only to deal with but to talk with. Lot’s of autographs signed for people and her crew did very well with selling her CD.

   What a cutie she is!

   If you are a part of the team you have an extremely talented girl there. From what I hear she’s well-grounded and her parents aren’t letting it go to her head. Please make sure she stays as sweet as she is now. She’s doing what she loves and it shows. What a talent!

   Yes, Connie is indeed one of the most talented people I have ever met. She is absolutely a very sweet child and her parents are some of the nicest people you could ever meet.

   Coincidentally one of the reasons I joined Connie’s Official Forum management team is because Connie and my youngest daughter look almost exactly alike.

   If you like Connie you should check out Kaitlyn Maher as well. She made the top 10 on America’s Got Talent this year, shares a lot of similarities with Connie and is only 4 years old.

    I just checked over at Matthews site and the performance they had listed on her schedule was for NBC 10 and did air on Friday at 11am.
