Caylee is our new miniature Schnauzer, who will be 2 months old on Oct. 25. She weighs around 2 pounds and makes a lot of noise for someone as small as she is.
(I think she’s getting spoiled)

Folks, I cannot go into a lot of detail, but a military family and good friend to this blog has written an email they never wanted to write – because of the inability to give details I can share only this:
“[he] has been wounded very badly. The doctors have said I need to be prepared to lose him. If there’s a positive, they said most other men would have died because of the severity of wounds. At present, he’s under heavy sedation.â€
To this family we offer our prayers and thoughts and to all who have and continue to serve this country with honor please know that even in the midst of this intense political season, you have not been forgotten.

Nothing ever changes in the city of Philadelphia when it comes to an election:
If anything shows you just how screwed up things are in Philadelphia, check out this story. Seems that local Democrat politicos are getting antsy because the Obama campaign hasn’t committed itself to giving them “street moneyâ€, which they claim to need in order to get people out to vote.
What’s so fascinating isn’t so much that they want it, it’s that they are so blatant in demanding it and justifying it.
