Despite their late teen years and what the public said, President and Mrs. George W. Bush have done an excellent job raising two beautiful girls.

“Enjoy your new puppy” reminds me of what my grandmother used to say: If a person doesn’t like animals he’s not worth much, and animals can tell whether or not a human likes him.

My grandmother had great wisdom also.

I think part of what helps ground the Bush twins is the huge family to which they belong. The picture is still full, but we know time will start to remove some of the faces, and also that each one of the family has contributed to the class these girls have.
