My husband will turn 65 Aug.1, but is on Medicaire as of July 1. Yesterday he called the doctor’s office for a physical and was told they were afraid his Medicare wouldn’t be in effect and made him wait until Aug. 7 for his appointment. We’ll pay if Medicare doesn’t pay. What’s the problem?
