About All That Change; It’s Best Kept In One’s Pocket
She doesn’t require a full makeover.
She does not require a society which is of “one think” mentality.
She never intended for social “one size fits all” programs to define her greatness.
While there is always room for improvement, she has withstood many a test in her short history and has always emerged stronger and more vibrant.
She has been a beacon of hope to those who had none, and though not perfect, she has provided her citizens boundless opportunities to succeed.
She has created a caring, giving society, where men and women help their neighbor and millions have adorned the uniform of her military and been willing to sacrifice their lives to defend her shores.
She supports a justice system which perceives all to be innocent until proven guilty.
She allows children the opportunity to understand and appreciate freedom so that they may approach adulthood with a clear picture of those not so fortunate.
She provides men, women and children the ability to form their own opinions, speak their mind and challenge her government when it attempts to remove these or any other guaranteed rights.
Yes, she has faltered from time to time, but in the end she is still our America.
